So far I have shown my living and dining room areas now it’s kitchen time; here you have some shots of my newly refurbished kitchen. I added new floors, birds and flowers wallpaper and a wooden panel on one side. For the cupboards I wanted a light shade for the top and a wood one on the botton, together with marble countertop and front. I wanted the whole kitchen to be cozy and rather classic with a modern touch, that’s why I asked for no handles on the lower parts. I love cooking so I wanted a living space more than just a simple kitchen. I have to confess I don’t quite like the typical operating room look for my kitchen. I took some time to choose the wallpaper because some patterns though attractive could end up being too tiresome; this one has a light greenish background with birds and little flowers, it’s is rather relaxing. I bought it online in http://www.papelpintadobarato.es I fully recommend this site. As for the stools, I bought them in Portugal (the height is different, they are slightly higher and they needed to be because so is the table) with a raw wooden finish so I painted them in pastel blue (matte finish) with Montana Colors Spray paint. As you may see I ordered a gas kitchen, those of you who are fond of cooking know it is the best option. In my next post I will show you the inspiration for this kitchen and the before version of it.
